Shawna Ziegenbein, is the Bend, Oregon artist behind the entire line of Sansarc Culture, the Mother Brand to Altar Inspired Homewares, and Teas, Invoka Luxury Skincare, and Ritual Custom Bridal Gowns.

All Sansarc Culture creations are made for people who seek out high-integrity designs and intentionally crafted organic goods that elevate the consciousness of handcrafted culture.

Shawna works with all organic ingredients, high-quality fabrics, historical and contemporary alternative photographic processes, and found natural elements

Shawna accredits her fascination with nature and design to spending most of her childhood exploring the vast pastures surrounding her family home, a landscape that first fostered her sense of aesthetic and artistic sensibilities. Her parents, aunts, grandmothers, and college mentor were all influential in her personal creative pursuits.

The name Sansarc is inspired by the river bay on her family’s ranch in west-central South Dakota. Sans Arc is the French translation of the Lakota name, meaning “Without Bows”.

Today, all Sansarc Culture Gowns, Ready to Wear Clothing, Ritual Decor and Body Care are handcrafted in our Bend, Oregon “Talent Room. This is where the Sansarc Culture has evolved and where ideas, design, creation, shipping and marketing alchemy take place.
